In 2019, the Heald Green Community Festival took place on the hottest day of the year and people came out in their thousands to enjoy a real Village Event, which started with a Fancy Dress parade for the children around the local streets. This was led by the Phoenix Pipe Band and was enjoyed by everyone.
Unfortunately, the Festival could not take place last year or this year, because of the Coronavirus regulations about gatherings. The committee is hoping to organise a Festival next year but a few of the older members would like to retire after organising the Festival for many years. Your Festival needs new helpers to ensure the continuation of this great Heald Green tradition.
