BURGLARIES
There have been seven burglaries in Heald Green between 9th and 20th of January.  Police are on the case and increased uniformed and plain clothes patrols are taking place. The have leafleted the area involved and are checking houses for security.  Make sure all your doors and windows are secure all the time.  These burglaries do not take place overnight but during daylight hours and early evening.

MAELR ROAD The PM has announced that the long awaited road from the M56 to Hazel Grove is to be funded. We await details, including the timing.
MALLARD COURT A planning application for the redevelopment of Mallard Court has been submitted to the Council. For details, go to the News page.

The Heald Green and Long Lane Ratepayers’ Association was founded in 1927 and exists only in the Heald Green Ward of Stockport.  Its purpose is to watch over the interests of the the residents of Heald Green.  One way it does this is by having its own Ratepayers’ Councillors, which is an unbroken tradition dating back to 1929.
